Where the shelf
meets the bar.

Our Story

Two backgrounds, one bar.

We built this company the way we built our life together — behind the bar, and in the stacks.

Stephanie and Charles together
Charles Sam Douglas III bartending at the Terrace, Horseshoe Casino
New Orleans → Georgetown → Baltimore

Charles Sam Douglas III

Raised in New Orleans and trained in Georgetown's cocktail scene, Charles built his career behind some of the city's busiest bars before landing at Horseshoe Casino, where he now bartends at the Terrace alongside fellow day-one bartender Jimmy. Years of travel and hands-on experience have given him a deep, self-taught knowledge of cigars that shows in every recommendation he makes. His pours carry the Bayou with them wherever he goes.

Stephanie Lawrence in the library media center
Newark → Hillside → Baltimore

Stephanie Lawrence

A Library Media Specialist by trade and a bartender by instinct, Stephanie built both careers side by side — working full-time in education while bartending part-time at Horseshoe Casino. She brings the same care she gives a reading list to a cocktail menu — curated, intentional, and built for the person in front of her.

05

Voice & Hosting

Charles's voice behind the mic — emcee work, voiceover, and hosting for tastings, launches, and private functions.

How It Works

Bring the bottle. We'll bring the rest.

We operate on a dry-hire model — you provide the alcohol and cigars from our curated list, and we handle the craft, the service, and the experience.

Step One

You supply

Alcohol and cigars, sourced from our recommended list or your own collection.

Step Two

We staff & style

Bartending, presentation, and hosting — tailored to your event and guest count.

Step Three

You host, we handle

From setup to last call, we run the bar so you can run the room.
